‘Learning Today for Life Tomorrow‘
Career-related learning in primary schools is about broadening pupils’ horizons, challenging stereotypes and helping them develop the skills and sense of self that will enable them to reach their full potential. At Ramshaw Primary School we are passionate about embedding career-related learning into our curriculum. Over the last year, we have taken part in the Start Small, Dream Big project in partnership with the DFE and the North East Local Enterprise Partnership.
Our strategic objectives for the project are to:
- Reduce bias and challenging stereotypes
- Link careers to the curriculum
- Increase meaningful employer encounters
- Engage parents and carers with CRL
