It’s that time of year again when we are busy organising our whole school trip. After positive feedback from last year’s trip, we have decided to return to Adventure Valley on Tuesday 14th July. More details to follow.

Free Comic Book Day 2015
The fabulous Miss Shotton visited shops celebrating Free Comic Book Day 2015 this week and brought back loads of comics for our children to read. There are dozens of types.
From Spongebob to Doctor Who and from Manga to Ninja Turtles – the children are in absolute raptures.
More information can be found here, if you’d like to learn a little more.
Fundraising for Nepal #2
Fundraising for Nepal
We’ve been following the tragedy in Nepal this week in Assembly. The children very much wanted to help and we’ve decided to hold a Non-uniform Day on Friday to do a little bit of fundraising.
We’d like to ask the children to bring £1, or whatever you can afford on Friday and in return, we’re all coming to school demob.
Thanks very much indeed for your support. We’ll be sending all money raised to Oxfam and if you’d like to donate anything yourself, then you can do so here.
Massive Cakes!
Massive cakes. They’re always good.
Mum, Charlotte produced a fabulous one for us in school this week and Will very kindly let us all have some.
It really is a mystery how we all keep our figures…
Trip to Hardwick Park
Many thanks to our parents who shared with us a post on social media, which mentioned an incident with a needle.
Hardwick Park are very aware of the post and have reassured us that the sites and the play areas are thoroughly checked and signed off before each visit and before each school session. Hardwick Park also confirmed that they had received no report of the incident from the gentleman, nor any report from the Police.
They’d be delighted to chat with any parents who might still have a concern, on telephone number
01740 21505.
Hardwick’s Hazard Identification Pack can also be downloaded here.
New Arrivals!
Thank You to Our Wonderful Children!
Just to say a big thank-you to our children for being so wonderful during our Ofsted inspection, we asked the ice-cream van to visit school.
