The Multi-Talented Peter Marshall, our caretaker at Ramshaw has excelled himself this time. Have a look at the photographs to see how Peter has transformed a bit of derelict land off the playground into a beautiful storytelling area. The Story Chair was created by craftsman Dave Pickford from Hilton and jolly nice it looks too.
Multi Skills Festival
My word. They’re lean. They’re mean. They’re hungry.

Author! Author!
We just wanted to draw your attention to the fact that Helen McGonigal, one of our Governors is now a published author!
We’re very proud of Helen and it’s been lovely that she’s been able to pop into school and talk to our children about what being an author REALLY means and also to give us some first-hand tips for story writing.
Helen’s book, ‘Mummy Makes Milk’, is a beautifully illustrated picture book which has just the right amount of information for little ones.
If you’d like to see the book itself, then we have a copy in school, or you can order it online.
Seeing Stars
We were delighted to welcome Karl and Duane from Bishop Auckland Astronomical Society to our Assembly today.
Duane and Karl gave us a really interesting talk about constellations and the tales behind them. They’ve also promised to pop back with a specially designed telescope that allows you to watch the surface of the Sun. They were also really impressed by Billy, who asked some fabulous questions. Mowden Park Taster Session
The children from Classes 2 and 3 had the opportunity to train with a player from Mowden Park, in Darlington. They took part in some training exercises and a game of tag rugby.
